Trikone-Northwest is always looking for volunteers with all kinds of skills or passions in the following areas:
- Graphic design
- Marketing and promoting
- Social/political/other event coordination
- Hosting for Trikone potlucks, movie nights and other events
- Videography/Photography
- Catering
- Finance/Accounting
- Political activism
- Advertising

Press Release from SALGA-NYC
SALGA-NYC is a community organization that has served the queer South Asian community for nearly twenty years.
This year, they applied to march in the India Day Parade on August 16th. This parade is an opportunity for Indians to show their Indian pride and be included in the larger, diverse Indian community. The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) NY/NJ/CT Chapter organizes this parade every year and has turned them down this year.
SALGA-NYC has issued a press statement in response. Please read it and forward it widely to your colleagues, press contacts, and friends. It is important that queer people have a space in the Indian community.
